Comma-Separated Values — a plain-text spreadsheet, opens in Excel or pandas
Definition
The simplest tabular data format: one row per line, fields separated by commas. Universally supported (Excel, Google Sheets, Python pandas, R, every BI tool). Our ledger CSVs ship with SHA256 hashes so you can verify the file is unmodified.
