Rate Limit
How many requests you can make per day or minute before you're throttled
Definition
A cap on requests-per-time-window per user/IP. Protects the service from abuse and from overload. Our tiers: Free 1,000/day, Intelligence 10,000/day, Research API 100,000/month with 60/minute burst. Hitting the limit returns HTTP 429.
Context anchor
Public APIs typically allow 10–60 calls/min anonymously; we're at 30–60/min for paid tiers
Example
Rate limit: Free tier = 1,000 calls/day, Research API = 100,000/month
