Definition
A 0–1 quantile-rank version of Volume Index, with explicit status: 'active_rank' (real rank), 'excluded_label' (labeled exchange, zeroed by rule), 'no_index_data' (no activity), 'deranked' (penalised), 'queued' (pending re-cal).
